Hoboken University Medical Center celebrated Minority and Multi-Cultural Health Month last month by offering the community free health screenings and education. From left, Gwen Beetle, Nurse Practitioner Student and David Liguori, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Services at Hoboken UMC were on hand to conduct stroke screenings and diabetes and glucose testing. Members of the community also had a chance to be screened for oral cancer, glaucoma, and high blood pressure; to pick up health educational materials; or enroll in the NJ Family Care program.
