Should a medical issue arise with your child, the new Children’s Healthcare Center at Hoboken UMC has got it covered. Through an innovative affiliation formed with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, the state’s leading pediatric health care provider, we deliver the best and most comprehensive scope of neonatal and pediatric services to Hudson County kids.

This includes access to 200 pediatric physicians, board-certified in 24 subspecialties from asthma and allergy to cardiac surgery and orthopedics. Outpatient care equipped with advanced maternal and paternal technology including 4-D ultrasound, genetic testing and a Level II Nursery for at-risk infants. And telemedicine linking complex pediatric conditions to specialists at St. Joseph’s and in some cases — St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital — to examine, consult and diagnose an illness all in real time.

Staffed by physicians from Hoboken UMC and St. Joseph’s, the Children’s Healthcare Center in Hoboken provides following pediatric specialties on an outpatient basis by appointment:

• Fetal Echocardiograms
• C.R.A.D.L.E Program (Center for Respiratory and Apnea Disorders)
• Gastroenterology
• Endocrinology

Inpatient care is available for children who need hospitalization. If Intensive Care is needed, St. Joseph’s specially equipped Mobile Intensive Care Unit will transport the child and parents to their specialized hospital in Paterson.
